On Friday, April 21st, Bishop Noll was host to 175 track athletes competing in various indoor events. Representing 10 schools, CYO athletes had a chance to experience what it is like to compete in a high school environment. This was the fifth year that Coaches Karl and Nancy Repay have hosted the event. “We enjoy having these meets. Our athletes take leadership roles in running the meets. We want our feeder schools to enjoy our new indoor track and see what Bishop Noll has to offer academically and in our sport”, says Coach Repay. BNI will also be hosting an outdoor CYO meet at Morton High School on Sunday, April 30th beginning at 2.
In the girl’s division, 1st place team honors went to St. Thomas More in Munster and 2nd place went to St. John The Evangelist in St. John. For the boys, the 1st place team was St. Mary’s in Griffith and 2nd went to St Stans in East Chicago. Congratulations to all of the schools and athletes that participated.
