Warriors News · Courtney Blakely named an Indiana All-Star!

Congratulations to Bishop Noll senior basketball player Courtney Blakely, the first girl in BNI history to be named to the prestigious Indiana All-Star team for the annual series against the Kentucky All-Stars, scheduled for this June. Courtney, who led the state of Indiana in scoring, averaging 31.7 points per game this season, finished her high school career as BNI’s all-time leading scorer, with 2,324 points. Previously, six boys from BNI were selected to the Indiana Boys All-Stars: Ron Loneski (1955), Bob Bradtke (1956), Thad Garner (1978), Teyon McCoy (1986), Gary Patterson (2004) and Adonis Filer (2011). Courtney is more than a basketball player. She is an honors student, member of the National Honor Society, member of the Women’s Empowerment Club and was a member of the 2020 Homecoming Court.
Congratulations, Courtney! Way to make us proud!
