The bats came alive for Bishop Noll yesterday afternoon during a 10-0 victory at Calumet. Junior, Ryan Bradtke, led the Warriors with three hits and three RBI’s, including an inside the park home run. Senior, Isaac Rosa, chipped in with a single, double, and two RBI’s while sophomore Devin Padilla had two hits and two runs scored. In only his second varsity start, freshman Aiden Campaniott went 2-3 from the plate with a run scored.
Antonio DeCrescenzo picked up his first win of the season after a solid performance on the mound. In five innings pitched, the junior right-hander allowed only three hits while striking out five.
Bishop Noll (2-2) will be back in action this afternoon at Irving Park when they take on conference rival Griffith High School. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m. The Warriors look to even the score against the Panthers after losing to them earlier this month.
