Richie Redding showed no sign of nerves in his varsity debut, recording a complete game shutout to help Bishop Noll take down Gavit 1-0. The freshman right-hander had a dominate performance on the mound, striking out 10, allowing one hit and no walks.
In the bottom of the first, junior Jack Poland brought in Noll’s only run, which was good enough to help the Warriors capture a season-opener victory.
Noll will be back in action on Thursday, March 29 against Crown Point at Dowling Park. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
