Bishop Noll got back to its winning ways Tuesday afternoon, taking down conference opponent River Forest by a final of 21-2.
The Warriors pounded out 15 hits with multiple batters driving in runs throughout five innings of play. Senior, Ryan Bradtke, went 3-for-4 at the plate with a deep double over the center fielder’s head in the first inning that drove in two, helping Noll jump out to an early 2-0. Fellow senior, Jeff Miller, was 1-for-2 at the plate with four RBI’s while junior, Hunter Laurincik, went 2-for-5 with four RBI’s.
Bradtke started on the mound for Noll and picked his second win in a row, allowing only two hits and no runs to go along with three strikeouts in two innings of work. Senior, Joshua Valdiva, closed things out for the Warriors, striking out three and giving up two runs on three hits in two innings.
The Warriors are back in action against River Forest at Iriving Park this afternoon with first pitch set for 5 p.m.
