Bishop Noll got back to their winning ways on Thursday afternoon, taking down Morton 9-4.

The Governors took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Noll wasted no time getting that run back, as well as four more in the bottom of the second to take the lead 5-1. The Warriors never trailed after that, scoring two more runs in the bottom of the fourth and six.

Noll junior, Will Peters, led the way at the plate, going 2-2 with a double and two RBI’s. Senior, Brendan Zavesky and junior, Ryan Bradtke, also chipped in with two RBI’s a piece.

Richie Redding is now 2-0 on the season after pitching his second complete game. The freshman right-hander gave up five hits while striking our four in seven innings of work.

Noll (3-3) will be back in action this afternoon at Clark High School. First pitch set for 4:45 p.m.
