Bishop Noll kept the bats hot yesterday afternoon, pounding out 13 hits during the team’s 17-2 victory over Morton.
The Warriors now have won three straight games (four of their last six) with a combination of solid pitching and defense as well as timely hitting. Great approaches at the plate have contributed to big hits throughout the lineup, including players coming off the bench.
Senior, Ryan Bradtke, had a stellar performance on the mound and at the plate for the Warriors. The 6’4 right-hander allowed only 8 hits and no walks to go along with 10 strikeouts in six innings of work. Bradtke also went 2-for-3 with a triple, one RBI and three runs scored.
AJ “PTO” Vasquez (senior) had a breakout game, going 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, triple and three RBI’s. Fellow senior, Antonio DeCrescenzo, kept his bat hot, going 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI’s and three runs scored. Sophomore, Aidan Companiott, was 2-for-2 with one RBI and two runs scored.
The Warriors will look to keep their winning streak alive when they travel back to Dowling Park to face Clark High School at 4:45 p.m.
